Disney Bound

Scroll to Info & Navigation

I read on the Disney site in the FAQ that they won't allow you in the parks if you're dressed like a character. Do you know if that's just the full-on actual/official costume or do they count disneybounding outfits? Will they let us in if we're disneubounding?

They don’t let in adults in full costume, as they don’t want their characters misrepresented by someone who is not officially with Disney - as it would be a liability (I believe is the reasoning). However, if you are using clothes to represent a character, without looking too much in costume (not a replica let’s say, Snow White’s actual costume which you would fine in the park), they have no problem with it.

I have yet to hear of a DisneyBounder not being allowed in the parks. :)

Hello! Just wanted to drop by and tell you I love all of your outfits :) I was wondering how you came up with the name Disneybound?

Originally, DisneyBound was a travel blog, when my best friend and I were literally Disney-bound. Then I started doing the outfits, and quickly it became a fashion blog.

It’s also a neat coincidence that Walt Disney’s wife’s maiden name was Bounds. So without knowing it, it’s a bit of an homage to Walt Disney and Lillian Bounds.

I am really disappointed that you do not do more male DBs. As a avid follower and a male it makes me very upset.

Every outfit I do is a request from a follower, as I get so many a day, I work hard to get through them all.

If you have a male look you’d like to see, feel free to request it :) <3
