Leslie Kay is the face behind DisneyBound. Some may be surprised to know that Leslie’s only education in fashion comes from a senior fashion class which she took when she was only a sophomore. However, fashion has been a hobby of hers since a young age - coming up with the idea of character outfits based off her own clothes when she was very young. Her aunt, who passed away last year, has been a huge role model for her in her life as she was the one who taught her how to sew. That being said, her real education is in marketing, public relations and she’s a self-proclaimed ‘social media freak’.

Many people ask where her love for Disney comes from. “I’ve always had a passion for the imaginary, magical and slightly bizarre - so I enjoy getting lost in the world of Disney.” As for her favorite Disney character? “People ask me that all the time - but my most favorite thing about Disney is Walt himself. As a creative driven person - I can’t help but look up to him as a role model. However, my favorite princesses are Ariel and Rapunzel, I love Jack Sparrow, would want to be best friends with Stitch and I’ve had a lifetime love for Winnie the Pooh.”
